Jackie Carson is the youngest of 3 kids in a regular middle class family. She was born and raised near Slippery Rock, PA, one hour north of Pittsburgh. Her dad owns an appliance repair business, & played guitar in Pittsburgh bands in the 60's. Her mom Carol passed away from CTE 3/24. Her parents both were huge Elvis Presley fans, with her family seeing him in person at least 4 times, her grandma & aunt were even at his Comeback special. Her dad has numerous organs, guitars, and Jackie could always play both by ear. She took organ & guitar lessons for a short while hoping to go back to lessons one day. Jackie's dad learned to fix tv's & radios in 1959 when he was 10. He has a huge record collection, Jackie & her siblings all had their own record player in their room. Jackie sang with numerous Doowop & Motown albums from his collection. Jackie loves Whitney Houston, Stevie Wonder, Sam Cooke, Elvis, Ricky Nelson, Freda Payne, Michael & Janet Jackson, Madonna, SWV, Mary J Blige, Mya, Brandy, Monica, Ariana Grande, Selena Quintanilla Perez, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, SIA, all Motown, SZA, Tiffany, Coi Leray Players, & Lil Mabu. Jackie recently started writing country music inspired by Shaboozey . She's hoping to keep writing songs people will love & hopes to also write hits for other artists like Prince & SIA have. She writes what she feels; inspired by Eminem.
